TGF New Year Toby

The Greeting Farm blog currently has this super cute New Year Toby as a freebie digi, and a challenge that you can use him for- if you wish! You can use any of your TGF stamps!!
Fresh Farm Friday Challenge colours are, Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze & Whisper White! I don't own these card colours... so I had to make do with what I got!!

I followed this weeks Friday Sketchers sketch 81 - which is sponsored by Mo's Digital Pencil. So some great vouchers up for grabs. Thanks for visiting me today... hope you have a great weekend.

Meet Rosebud

If you ready my last post which you can find here, then you're in the know when it comes to The Character Cafe's 12 HOPS OF CHRISTMAS.
At the end of the hop you get a freebie image called Rosebud - isn't she cute! This time I did her purple, (am thinking that 'she' can probably be coloured blue for a boys card - or are those eyelashes just way too long?? Hmm?)

Anyways... if you use the image you get even more entries into the Major prize draw. And here she is.....

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
The Pink Elephant - Challenge #43 Colour Me Wonderful (more entries more chances to win)
Lili Of The Valley - Challenge 42 Sketch (great simple sketch)
Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 39 Swirly Girly (like my rub-ons?)
Charisma Cardz - Challenge 48 - Dreaming of Summertime (think my papers & flowers are summery...)
I think this card will be perfect for a little girl or even an older 'girl' who likes all things cute! I know I like all things cute! BTW - Have you seen New Moon yet - TEAM JACOB!! Pity I'm more than a decade older than him..... :( ............ Alicia - he'll be 18 in Feb '10.... I think!!

The Character Cafe 12 Hops of Christmas

is having a 12 Hops Of Christmas blog hop to go with December's New Releases. You'll get at least 13 entries into Blog Candies... and if you follow some easy instructions you'll go into the draw to win the major Candy - which includes Buttons, Brads, Ribbons, Flowers, Cards, Bling, Bells, Stamps, and Copics - oh, and did I mention the Copic Airbrush System!!

Whoop Whoop! Be sure to join in the fun, and if you get there via this post be sure to add that into your final comment as it will get both you and I an extra entry ;)

Note: As of right now, Deanne, Meredith & Sara are yet to post their Hop...
(All draws take place on the 18th December 2009)

I've been hoarding these charms...

You know how you buy something and just look at it? Well, that's what I've been doing, but now with 2 challenges asking us to use a charm, I ripped them open!

So the following challenges are being entered into:

Papertake Weekly - Sketch #29 (Would love to win some Kraftin' Kimmie stams!)
Simon Says - So Charming
The Pink Elephant - Challenge #43 Colour Me Wonderful (fav medium)
Peachy Keen Stamps - Challenge 17 recipe - Polka Dots, Stripes, Stamp(s), Border
Quixotic Challenge #5 - Be Charming
Creative Card Crew - Challenge 39 Christmas
Creatalicious Challenges #4 - Christmas w Snowflakes
Stamp With Fun - Challenge 35 Xmas
There are some awesome prizes up for grabs at these blogs, be sure to get your entries in!! Good luck all, and thanks for visiting!

Forgot to post my card...

....then couldn't remember which challenges I'd based it on! Having one of them weeks!! Think it's that Mega Gas Bill... always in the back of my mind, what I could have spend that $1900 on!!
Anyways, after searching I found the main challenge I was following, over at Doodle Palace, then I realised my main image isn't a digi (and although not a 'rule' of entry I think they like to see digis??)... Ooops!
So the challenge this week is Chocolate Brown and Aqua. Use their sketch and the following recipe: 3 papers, I ribbon, 2 flowers, 3 brads/jewel - this I only just discovered and I only have 2! Ooops again!! My gems are on top of tiny gold flowers.
I coloured this gorgeous Tilda with my chalks, think I'm getting better at them! And as I colour EVERY image with chalks, I think I can claim them to be my favourite colouring medium, which gives me an entry into this weeks The Pink Elephant challenge 43 - Colour Me Wonderful.

I also want to enter this into Die Cut Dreams' Challenge #25 Hot Chocolate. There's plenty of milky chocolate colours on my card!

Engagement Card #2

Here's the 2nd card I made with my TGF digi win, Dressy Couple.

I chose more traditional, romantic colours for this one in case it's more what my sister had in mind! I seriously love these guys! I've been wanting some Miss Anya stamps for a while now, but haven't managed them yet, so to win these little guys from The Greeting Farm Blog is super!

I used Card Patterns sketch 42. Notice her huge pink-diamond rock?

My Dressy Couple Win

I mentioned yesterday that I won The Dressy Couple Digi set over at the Greeting Farm Blog! I am so excited as my sister asked me to make her an Engagement card for a friend, and these two cuties are absoluotely perfect!

I loosly based this one on MojoMonday's week 115 sketch, though I hope not so loosely that it doesn't qualify!
Aren't they fabulous! Can you see a Twilighty resemblance? Oh.... loved New Moon when I saw it last week though have to say....

"TEAM JACOB!!!" All the way!
So therefore... I'm also entering this one into By The Cute & Girly's December challenge - "Let's Go To The Movies" and see TWILIGHT!! Cause I loved it! Could watch it a million times!!
Thanks for visiting, be sure to check out my other post for today. A 2nd card I made with these cuties so my sister can pick between the two!

Back again!!

Final post for today!!

Here's yet another new family member (and probably one of the last for a while as our heater over winter had not been working probably and we just got the $1960.00 gas bill!! - Only 3 weeks before Christmas, so trying to get it all organised!!) Thank God it's Summer now!
This is the first time I've entered one of The Sweet Stop Sketches - but you can see below why I had to give it a go! I used circles in place of the squares, hope that's ok! I love the Mistletoe and Mice stamp.. but can someone please tell me what colour mistletoe berries are? I added white pearls?

Sketch Saturday Bear & Robin

Here's one of the newest members of my crafty family.... Bear & Robin by Gillian F Roberts...
I've used this weeks Sketch Saturday Sketch #79
Thanks for visiting, I've got another quick post for you today then I'll be back tomorrow with the Engagement cards my sister has asked me to make... lucky I won TGF Dressy Couple!! So cute!!

Acetate Magnolias From Saturday

I actually finished whipping these cuties up on the weekend, they're the remaining 3 I need for the mums in our 'Mum's group'. I'm going to fill them with candy of some sort and give them to them rather than just a card, though I have so many cards I could possibly give them all 10!
I used some more laminator sheets and really just made them up as I went. I've made some before and you can see one here, and the other one here.

How cute are these Tildas!! I think the one with glitter is one of my favs! You realise I say that about all of them! LOL!!

Here's a shot of the top of them... nothing too fancy this time as I was mega strapped for time this weekend! I'm entering these into Kellie's Magnolia Down Under Challenge #27 - Christmas Card or Decoration... and I think these certainly qualify as a Decoration!

Yahoo! A 'Boy' card I am happy with!!

A few weeks ago I won a Doodle Palace challenge, allowing me to pick 2 of their digi images!! Here's one of them. Emery the Pitbull. How cute is he? And how lucky am I? Without him I never would have had the means to enter this weeks challenge #24 at Die Cut Dreams - Puppy Love. Which also fits in perfectly with this weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge 88 - "Snips, Snails and Puppy Dog's Tails" - card for a young boy.

I've also used this weeks Create4Fun sketch week 47. And followed this weeks Pink Elephant Recipe - Plaid, Brads and No Ribbon!

Also another entry into Caardvarks 'Colour It' challenge. Oh, and I also used this weeks A Spoon Full of Sugar #79 colour combo, Brown and either Pink or Blue. I used blue once again!

So there's Emery the Pitbull. Coloured with chalks. I made the paw print paper myself on the computer but rather than print it directly onto the paper I used my DIY Rub-on method. Gives it more of a 'stamped' look. I'm going too keep this card until Jan next year when my friend's little boy turns 3. I'm sure he'll love it! I know I do! Thanks for visiting my blog today... be sure to check out my other card additions... have a great day!

Tilda singing Holly Jolly Christmas

All decked out in Red, White and Green... Tilda sings her fav Christmas carol... "Holly Jolly Christmas" just for me, you and of course everyone over at Allsorts Challenge week 28 - Christmas Carol or Song Title. The back ground paper was another sheet from my candy win, and it's all holly with the red berries. The Colour Combo is for the latest Colour Create Challenge 32, I've used Lili of The Valley Challenge #41 Sketch and obviously my coloured stamped image is another entry into Caardvarks "Colour It" challenge. And finally I'm entering this into Magnolia Down Under's Challenge #27 - Christmas Decoration/Card. I've been wanting to make some Christmas Decorations, but haven't got there yet - so it's yet another Christmas Card for me!!
Tried taking the photo without the flash, but it was too dull... so sorry.... you'll just have to imagine Tilda without the flash!
