I MADE A CARD!!!

Hello bloggers!! Yep, you read right! I made a card!!! I truly thought I'd forgotten how to when I'd first sat down, it took me ages to decide on the papers and an image! This actually wasn't my first choice.. because I'd completely forgotten I owned it :)

Our friends and neighbours welcomed their 2nd child, a daughter "Amelia" on the 30th so I needed to make a card! I think somethings missing on my card though... the bottom left corner may be a bit nude? I was thinking of a sentiment... ?

Have to go to a Mother's Day assembly at my daughter school shortly, they always sing us some funny & cute song :)

Finally got around to sorting out my stamps... and it's time to bid a final farewell to quite a few.

Prices are in Australian $AUD and exclude shipping.

I am happy to ship worldwide at your expense and will get postage prices when asked.

Here in Australia I can post 1-2 stamps for .60c and I think 2-8 (depending on size) for around $2 in an A4 envelope.

I've been looking at the AusPost website and AirMail to the US/UK is around $19.

Hey guys.. I certainly haven't been around much lately have I? For that reason I have stepped down from the Whimsy Stamps digital team - thanks to the girls for having me :)

I will be having a BIG clean out of rubber stamps shortly, and have been debating whether to list them here or just straight to eBay? I think international postage may have increased lately...?

I guess there's no harm in listing them on both is there :)

I'll have some CC Designs, lots of Lili of the Valley, and a few odd/special Magnolias. As my favourite images when crafting are of the digital variety, I think it's time to clean out some space - and get a little more moola for some digis :)

I hope you're all having a grea 2013 so far - Like I said I will be having a clean out, I just need to find some time first! Keep your eyes peeled for that and although I haven't been *here*.. I may have been on my polish blog so feel free to pop on over and leave me some bloggy lovin' there :)

The super cute whimsical papers are a Grace Taylor Scrapbook pad - Playtime.. I added some twine and rhinestones. Coloured with Copics (sorry, didn't write them down!)

DVD - something a little different

hey guys, as you know I've recently delved into the massively addictive nail stamping craze, complete with new blog dedicated only to it! Check my blog out here...

So I've been thinking lately about some of the 'craft' blogs that I follow and how they've evolved over the last 12 months or so, with many bloggers sharing more than just their crafts. Now I'm not really into sharing all my personal bits and pieces, that's what Facebook is for and as it should be so that I can choose who can see who/what/when/where and why... God knows who reads this blog-o!

So I'm sharing something different, as my blog title suggests, this is a place for my Free-time Fillings :)

And yesterday I welcomed the New Year with food poisoning, not something I wish to repeat and not a good omen for the year :/

So on the couch I was with bucket handy... watching a DVD I borrowed from my mother.

I have no idea when this movie was released, or when out on DVD, but I think it is 'relatively' new :)

The Sapphires

Being Australian it would be a crime not to eventually watch this movie, and lucky for me I quite enjoyed it. I liked watching the actresses I recognise from their local work (I am a HUGE Offspring FAN!!!), and Jessica Mauboy's voice is incredible.. who knew Deborah Mailman could sing?

And how can anyone resist the cute little Irish (?) bloke from the Bridesmaids movie? Chris O'Dowd.

I thought he was great! Not a bad way to spend a spewy afternoon on the couch on the first day of the month... YEAR!

Computer is fixed - yay!

It's my nephew's 4th birthday today so just dropping in to share the card I made. There's no stamping/colouring on this one... I have a Grace Taylor Scrapbook Pad "Playtime" that has the most adorable whimsical papers... and I just couldn't go past these sweet pirate papers :)

Sentiment is one of Simon Says Stamps own sets, the '4' was hand cut and I was pretty happy with it in the end ;) added some scalloped 'waves', some rustic twine (this comes on price tags on Rivers brand clothing - love a freebie that can be recycled!!) added a bit of wooden plank and all done!

Wild Orchid Crafts - BFF Gifts

Hey guys,

got something a little different for you today. My DD and her besties exchange gifts each year.. and this year we decided to personalise them.

I grabbed some gorgeous wooden frames (2 for $5 Big W), they have a cute shabby chic wood grain on them.. and then we grabbed the box of WOC flowers.

My DD is the one on the right (witch face paint), they recently had their faces done at a local kids craft fest.

I've been hoarding the flowers for quite some time now, as most of you know I rarely bulk my cards up these days. It was so much fun adding all this floral gorgeousness without worrying about how to post it :)

The large glitter flowers in the left corners are by Prima, the apha stickers are from the Simon Says Stamp October kit - Doodlebug Teensy Alphabet Stickers, added some random Flourish with Bling pink pearls and all done :)

got a real quickie post for you all. I don't seem to have many spare hours in the day at the moment.

This is the cute little snowman digi from Whimsy Stamps - get him HERE.

I cannot find my list of markers used, but I can tell you that the papers are Echo Park Seasons Greetings, the snowflake stamps are a mix of Magnolia and Stampin' Up! I believe....

the bottom sentiment is from the Aussie Christmas set by Kellie Winnell. I can't seem to open her page at the moment to give you any links!

I hope all your Christmas preparations are going well and that you're all staying safe. A girl I went to school with was killed in a car accident over the wkd.. she was 32 and a mummy to two little kiddies :(
