Another Pink Toby Cub

Just sharing another pink baby card, this now means I have my necessary 2 girls and 2 boys cards for my stash and the upcoming arrivals of two of my friends - actually I now realise it's 3 expecting! I hope they all don't have the same sex babies so I can use all these cards :)

I'm once again really happy with this card - scroll down to see the other (and very similar) version of my girlie Toby Cub - this one wasn't as free-flowing to make and then suddenly it all just snapped together. They're the type of cards I like to make.

You can see the gorgeous pleated ribbon just shimmer in this photo, and I think the glimmer card I used for the letters and BP shows up too? I just love this adorable digi and am so glad I found 'him' again!

Hey everyone, hope you've all enjoyed your weekend, ours is now coming to an end and we've just been to a birthday party at the local pool so the kids are quiet - for the moment :)

I told you I'd be back with the baby girl cards (still have another to make) without the gorgeous little Magnolia Tingla Sleeping stamp. I printed out this gorgeous digi from The Greeting Farm. I have had this digi forever, 'he' was a freebie literally years ago I reckon! And I just love colouring him up in pink and adding a little bow to his hair!!

This shot shows the shimmer of the shimmer card, it really is very pretty IRL. Coloured using my chalks.

And here's a shot without the flash. The spotted bit and everything on it is actually popped out with some bubble wrap! The lace was a gift from a blogging friend - I actually cut the strip off the top (it's the bit behind Toby Cub) and just attached the other bit in a gathered way.

wow, it's humid here now. Doubt the storm clouds will actually reach us, I'm producing enough 'rain' at the moment anyways hehe... sorry that was a bit gross and SWEATY!!! :) Please excuse me, I'm tired, my fingers are a little on the fat side and yes, I'm sweaty :-) there I go again!!!

Okay, serious time. Wanted to share another card, no challenges, and has revamped my LOVE for this BG Paper Pad!

Oh, and reaffirmed my need for Copic markers!! So nice to be able to colour the tiny bits and pieces with the 3 markers that I have... definitely thinking some Baby Bonus money will be spent on some textas!

I have always loved these papers, and the natural/earthy colours.

Okay ladies, I wanted to just jump on the bandwagon for the moment and make sure that all my lovely followers are aware of the following 3 things....

One: This is a supposed RARE Magnolia stamp Auction cuttently running on eBay from The UK - (I think?)

Two: As I type this the price is at GBP 117.00 (AUD 171.83)

Three: It's not so 'RARE' now! This stamp... along with other "RARE" Magnolia's is now avaliable from a couple of Magnolia sellers... including this store. (with international postage)

Pastel Blue Baby Tinglas

Hey bloggers, a very quick post from me as I really need to be getting the kids into bed... but you know - some things just can't wait! Hehe

I've deviated from my list of cards, just a little. Or not really, well, I will need baby cards for three friends in the coming months, but what colour cards is still a mystery. So I've started with two blue ones.

The first is similar in layout to the recent 'pink' ones I made, and the 2nd is a little different. No challenges followed here, I find it so mush more relaxing to just craft and see what the final result is, although I do love to win the odd challenge!

We're probably all getting a little sick of Tingla on my baby cards so the next ones will hopefully feature a different stamp... it's just that she's so quick and simple to colour!

Two Tilda's and Four DODGY Photographs.. sorry!

Good morning peeps, well to be truthful I am buggered. I stripped our bed and one of the boys (he still has some leakages during the night!) for washing, there's the load of yesterday's clothes and another of towels and swimmers from the pool - Yes, still Summer down here! I need to clean the bathrooms and toilets and vacuum the floors, but I just don't have the energy at the moment. And I have discovered a job for DH when he knocks off work this afternoon... our air-conditioning doesn't smell too pretty so I'm thinking he'll need to get up on the roof and investigate - sometimes it really must suck to be a bloke ;)

EDIT: To make up for the horrible photos of my cards, I'll first share with you a photo of my 2 little blokes who had their first morning of Pre-School Thursday... they loved it (and so did I ;))

Onto my cards, both smaller 10x15cm cards, reasonably simple, I tried to make each of these cards numerous times before deciding I was happy with the final results. They're for my DD's friends, one turning 5 and the other 6. I apologise for the totalCRAP photos, but I can't seem to get up to take some new ones :)

I am really getting through my list of cards to make, it's very satisfying. One of these cards is for the beginning of March and the other for April. I need to make a few extra Baby cards in each gender as my sister (who's due 5 days after me) has been having all sorts of imminent labour signs... fingers crossed bubby stays in there just a little bit longer!

G'day to you all, wow, can you all believe that the first month of the new year is over and done with already? I know I can't! Only 11 more to go... :-/

I have my sister's birthday card to share with you all today, her birthday is early April and as I will have a new bub by then I am yet again taking this opportunity to get it made early.

Bunny Tilda and a H&S cutie

Hey guys, back again with some more cards I'm making well ahead of time. Starting us off is this gorgeous little fluffy bunny for my daughter's 6th birthday. Given that my bub's due date is the day before - I think we'd better get her gift all sorted out sooner rather than later too :)

I love these Magnolia papers, I hope she likes this card. Am entering Colour Create's Pink & Green challenge.

Next up is a smaller simpler card for a friend's birthday in April... it's so nice to be organised! I have another card to make for one of DD's friends in March, and I will be buying 3-4 boy birthday cards as I struggle to make them and all the boys really want is Ben 10 or Spiderman!! Besides that - I'm good til April, perhaps I'll make a Valentine one for DH?

Bubby update - everything is doing good. My blood pressure is steady since Friday and I was a little bit proud that bubs moved TOO much during monitoring :) I keep telling them all that it kicks more than you can imagine!!

Have a lovely day, DD went back to school yesterday - heaven! Terrible as it sounds, our house is back to normal - just the twins to trash the place and make all the noise!! And on Thursday morning for 3 hours - BLISSFUL peace as they enjoy their first preschool experience...

Hehe... just getting that in there for anyone who's memory is a little hazy... I know you were thinking of me at some point ;)

Had a very quiet day, did nothing exciting and have nothing to really show for my birthday but some gorgeous hand-made cards and a few store-bought ones too...

So anyways, the fan has been set up in the background to help dry my sweat and I've been busy at my desk. Very busy! I've managed 4 cards over the last 2 days, and in no particular order here they are -

Some House Mouse mice for my MIL's upcoming 60th - she loves to sew, so this was perfect! And I love the little chipboard shapes from Make it Crafty!

And finally a glum Edwin waiting for the fish to bite! I tried and tried to get a decent photo of this one but it just wasn't playing nice! And the colours just look wrong!!

I'm going to give myself a birthday present and head to bed early tonight... so will do a check around for any challenges in the morning

First Post for 2012!

Hey bloggers, I am still alive and have a bit to catch up on but I want to first start with a very Happy Australia Day to my fellow Aussies.

Have had a quiet one at home, DH is on night shift and slept most of the day and is now back at work again - very Australian of him! Gotta make some money to buy the Vegemite... hehe... that's what we tell the kids!

Anyways, next update is about me... still baking this bubby - only 6 and a bit weeks to go. I have been having a few issues with my blood pressure, it keeps creeping up and staying up for no apparent reason. I have an appointment with an Obstetrician on Monday so hopefully we'll be able to work something out...

here's a 'selfie' of the bump, taken about a week ago. It's been really hot down here and I have to admit that it's not really bothering me all that much. When I was pregnant with my DD (also a March baby) the summer heat was a killer and I just hated it, but this time all I do is sweat :)

Now for the crafty side of things, last week one of my friends went into premature labour at 26 weeks with her twins, they are both girls, both just weighed a kilo each and are being little Aussie battlers! Unfortunately there was not enough humidi-cribs in Melbourne's major neonatal hospital so they (and then her the following day) were sent to Adelaide. It's such a ridiculous thing, she has another 4 kids here at home and Adelaide is an 8-9 hour drive. And to fly there you have to drive to Melbourne first which is a 2-3 hour drive anyway! Oh, and this is while there is a complete neonatal department sitting there unused as the government fill their own pockets and inflate their own heads!

So, here's the cards I just had to make. As a mother of twins - I want to let you all know that whilst there are some very cute twin images.... a card for EACH baby is very much appreciated! These days we all keep birth cards and bits and pieces.. it's a bit hard to split a card that is addressed to both babies!! Just an FYI for you all :)

These are both very similar to a Baptism card I made recently, I really liked the simple design and was able to keep the cards very similar....

You can see the shimmer/pearl card I used on each of them in the sparkly shots taken with the flash. I've had these various baby pink papers for years and am sad to say that there are now only scraps left :(

These are the non-sparkly shots... I actually used a Copic marker that I recently won in a candy to colour the skin, so much easier than trying to mix my pink and yellow chalks! I also used the last 2 of these doilies... :(

If you're still with me thanks so much for dropping by, although it's incredibly uncomfortable to sit at my desk at the moment, I hope to be around a bit over the next 6 weeks...

Saying Goodbye to 2011

Hi guys, I hope your Christmas has been a very happy and safe time, I'm glad it's all done with and we can all just settle back into normal daytime activities - with the added bonus of new toys to play with :)

This year has just flown past - like all the rest - but I still can't quite believe it's nearly all over.

I have no plans for this evening... 30 weeks pregnant (with high BP), 3 little kids and a husband that has to work all weekend.. it's not really all that appealing to party or to take the kids out... Some of you may recall that last year our local tourism was non-existent due to the Murray River being in flood, well, they're making up for it this year!! So many people!! Plus - did I mention it's going to be 35-40°C (95-104°F ?), too hot!!

Anyways, I have FOUR cards that I have made over the last week or so, but haven't had time to post them. I'll start with the two Christmas cards, I was going to say 'final' but I am still in love with all my new papers so I think I might keep making some for next year!

I threw them together for the 'just in case' occasion, turns out I didn't need them so I already now have a few stashed for next year, bonus.

Next I have a card I made for one of my daughters BFs. Her birthday is late January but I really need to get on top of the up-coming birthdays etc and get the cards made before this baby makes sitting at my desk impossible!

I had a little trouble colouring her skin, not sure why. But I am loving the papers, the lace and the charm. The lace and gorgeous gem/pearls were in my cnady prize from Lori - love them!!

Next up is poor gloomy looking Edwin, he sure doesn't look to be having much luck. This was for my nephew who turns 3 today - Happy Birthday!

Okay, that's it for me. I keep looking at my desk but nothing is luring me over there at the moment, perhaps after lunch..?

Something for You Tilda and a very Cheeky Santa

Hey bloggers! Phew, it's gonna be a hot and sweaty day down here. Enjoy your snow - wish I had some to roll in right now :D

I just can't seem to stop making Christmas cards, all the papers and stamps are all still scattered around my desk, and with my latest order of BoBunny papers - Snowfall Collection = Yummy!!, I just can't resist.

I seriously love these papers, the colours and the gorgeous patterns so much, that I had a put a little bit of a few of them on the on card....

Simple strips with some DooHickey Hearts Die in between... Tickled Pink Stamps sentiment from last year, I still love it!

Here's a photos showing the shimmer in the brown paper, so pretty.

Also sharing a card I really WHIPPED up, I had to paper-piece his suit, as you may have heard me say (read!) I cannot colour any red with my chalks. It all goes pink.. but this turned out great so will have to remember to just paper piece all the red bits :)

He is of course, Cheeky Santa from Make it Crafty, and that's his sentiment. Cheeky little bugger he is :)

2 Quick Tilda Birthday Cards

It's easy to forget that there's normal things happening at the moment, like birthdays! Put the Christmas papers to the side and switch up the stamps box - oh wait... I did use one Christmas Tilda for a birthday card. Love how versatile these Maggies always are!

Very simple cards, I dug out some super old Magnolia paper that yes - have been hoarding :) - and a Spellbinder die. So simple but so perfect for this adorable little Tilda and her Teddy.

The sentiment is from a stamp set I bought with a voucher I won from Scrapbook Boutique here in Aus - it's a Kelly Panacci set with clock faces, hands etc - no set name though. Anyways, I was going to have Tilda sitting on one of the clocks, but it just wasn't happening :)

This of course is Hula Tilda... (?) Is that her name? For a friend's 3yo daughter, the papers I also bought with my voucher, BoBunny's 'Smoochable' pack, the little lolly-pop sheets are great for little girl cards.

No challenges this time, just a need for some quick cards as these two will be having a joint birthday this Sunday and I need to be organised in case I get a massive dose of the "just-don't-cares" !!

Tilda's Playing in the Shaker Snow!

So, I was on a roll... completely jamming your dashboards, and then I stopped! Sorry to be gone for so long :)

I've been really uncomfortable as this baby settles in and grows BIGGER and BIGGER! My hips ache all night, my ribs are sore, the bub has hiccups ALWAYS and I just want to rest :) (No such thing in my house!)

So, the other night I couldn't sleep... not a wink. I was so sore I got out of bed, and made a card. Finished it at 4:30am but decided I'd try sleep before posting it! I've made a shaker card, bit late for a recent challenge but at least I was inspired! Kept it simple, have no idea who this is for or if I even 'NEED' it, but it'll find a home somewhere!

I'm entering a few of Christmas themed challenges, Paper Sundaes and Simply Magnolia. And ATS Wednesday Challenge & Basic Grey both have Anything Goes challenges.

This one shows the gorgeous pearl card that I recently won from Scrapbooking Allsorts.. and some stickles I put on the inside of the acetate so there's always a bit of snow.

Here's a close-up. I used flowersoft for the 'snow'.. it doesn't shake all that well, but it looks great! Love that little deer in the corner :)

Have a lovely Wednesday... I'm done with Christmas shopping - if only my Kmart online order would get delivered :/

I'm back with another Koala Cuddle Tilda - just try keeping me away from her now :)

I whipped up another relatively simple card... have to make still another 8 (?) I think to finish off the year with a spare!

This sketch is for The Sketchy Challenges, I just loved the DT samples and had to play along. These are BoBunny papers, and I will admit that the holly sheets are my favourites. I added a Marianne Designs poinsettia and the round leaves are a Make It Crafty die cut set.. I NEED some more!

Am also entering Allsorts Challenge - Going Round in Circles.

I hand-wrote the sentiment... can someone please design a rounded Christmas set ;)

I *shouldn't* be back tonight with another card hehe :)... but you never know! I am just loving clogging up your dashboards LOL!

Koala Cuddles Tilda enjoying Australian Christmas

ooh, reminds me so much of our recent visitor.. scroll down a little to see photos of a Koala who recently took up residence in one of our smaller trees. He/she was only here for a day but caused quite a stir around the neighbourhood and with our children :)

They truly are far too adorable! And this little fella had be drawn to be so real-like and cute and cuddly - though you can't really cuddle a wild one.. not without getting scratched and bitten! Our little visitor was friendly enough to let us touch him without even a little growl, miss him/her :(

Anyways, what a ramble! I couldn't stay away from Tilda for very long, have made a simple Christmas card (probably for one of DD's school teachers)...

I used 'scrap' Kaisercraft papers that my SIL left behind the other day - perfect for my card! Lili of the Valley Sentiments, a heap of Spellbinder Circle Cuttings, a bit of Kaisercraft Ribbon. She'll die when I tell her I fished them out of the bin!! Yes - I really am a paper hoarder LOL!

I'll enter this in the Maggie Lovers Challenge... I think, she's Aussie enough isn't she? And again, no Snow, snowflakes, mistletoe (you know I have NEVER seen the stuff! :D)....

Gotta go, have a morning tea at DD's school, it's a thankyou to all the Mums & Dad's that volunteer... reading twice a week with a class full of 5 year-olds, I think I've earnt my slice and cuppa!!

Australian First Christmas

Edwin's looking a little glum on this card... I think it is the FIRST TIME EVER that I wish he had a little smile on his face :)

I assure you he's having fun... just sick and tired of waiting for that big Murray Cod to latch on! You can tell he's fishing in the river... note the murky coloured water at his feet :)

I got my Koala Cuddles stamp from ShopBron in the post yesterday... but instead decided to try and use stuff I already had to make an Australian Themed Christmas card for the Maggie Lovers Challenge. Now my papers aren't very Aussie - but there's no snowflakes, mistletoe or Saint Nicholas to speak of. Instead there's prancing deers (we do have these in Aus), spotted grass (?) and green and brown trees, there's plenty of them down the bush at the moment... if only these resembled Gums a bit more ;p

And it must be a nice warm day for Edwin to be dangling his toes.. just waiting for the yabbies to come for a nibble! Love Summer!!

This is of course for the latest family addition.. my little nephew who will be 2 months old Christmas Day, his father and big brother readily enjoy fishing and I'm sure he'll be going out to join them in no time.

I cut the letters with my new Quickutz Santa's Workshop dies - if you were bidding on them on eBay and lost in the last 3 seconds - SORRY! :)

a HEAP of chrissie cards!

Hey bloggers... I now have a heap of cards to share with you to get you all up to date. I'll start with the ones I made using my new stash...

... am in love with my simple stories - 25 Days of Christmas pad. Oh, I am telling you! Never have I been more in love with some vintage papers! I thought the BoBunny ones would be great - but these are divine! My only growl is that the second you tear a page out the pad starts to fall apart! Lucky we all have spare baggies on hand!

So, here's 2 cards made with it.

This also shows off my new Memory Box die - Frostyville Border. I just love it - and I think it would also make a great border for any male space-themed cards as the stars and circles aren't only limited to Christmas snow. Am entering this card into Magnolia-licious' Photo Inspiration.

This one's a little different, and I do prefer the one above. I am finding these Magnolia's a perfect teamed with vintage. Am entering this card into Cute Card Thursdays' Numbers Challenge.

Mistletoe Mice & Bite-sized Paper Candy

Good morning, hope your weather is better than ours at the moment. Very muggy, yet cool; lots of dark clouds threatening to drown my washing on the line!

I have another Gillian Roberts card to share, told you I was going to CASE myself! This time I dug out some Kaisercraft papers - think I prefer the last card, but they're still cute enough :)

horrible dark photo yet again :) think I need a light tent for xmas!

Now if you're still here with me, and you've been wondering what on earth my bite-sized candy is....

I have decided that not only should I be trying to use up my stash of papers but that I have so many (nearly full 6x6 pads etc) that I can spread some Christmas lovin' and share some with you.

I have two lots of bite-sized candy... they are

#12 sheets (1 of each design) from the latest Bo Bunny - Father Christmas 6x6 Pad. This is really nice thick paper and the prints have a vintage look,

and #10 sheets (again 1 of each) from the older Papermania Naughty and Nice Christmas 6x6 pack. (these papers are not as thick.. but they are lovely and bright). Go HERE to see a card I made with them.

OUR VISITOR - November 24th, 2011

Seriously.. there's no a cuter animal on this planet than the Australian Koala! And lucky us are currently being visited by one in our front yard!! What a lovely surprise - we don't often see these up close around here, they do of course live all through the bushland along the Murray River which is maybe 2km from where I live... but there's plenty of Eucalyptus trees along the way :)

Anyways, it's been years since I saw one up close, and the first time for the kids (apart from seeing them in the Zoo's)... last time I saw one was up a small tree along a beach we were swimming at, and that was years ago! Usually we only ever see them on the side of the road :(

this is after it moved down the tree.. into the shade

Anyways... here's our super cute Aussie Native... makes me so proud to be an Aussie - cause seriously, there really is nothing cuter!!

It just watched us all and seemed really interested in what was going on.. wide awake!

Special Edition - Raining Hearts Tilda

Hi again bloggers, I'm back, but not with the card I mentioned earlier! This is a different one :) One I made just then, well, it took a little longer, but not too much longer.

Once again I am enjoying using paper that's been stashed in the draws, on the shelves and in my folders for waaaaayyy tooo long :P

There's 3 different DPs on this card, 2 from a mixed pack of 'Browns' that I brought from Bizzy Becs ages ago... (one is a double sided sheet) and the other from a 7Gypsies pad. There's 48 sheets in that pad, and up until an hour ago I'd only ever used part of 2 sheets!!! Now, I've managed to use nearly 2 sheets!

I'm also trying to bring out the laces, flowers, stickers, pearls/gems etc which I also seem to hoard. Like if I run out I'll never be able to replace them - this being the case in many instances... but maybe I'll find something better??

Eels... thanks for the support and encouragement to use everything up!! Anyways... enough of my ramblings :)

hey chickies, have another couple of Christmas cards, the because I can and NEED them type! I've kept these simple again, with inked edges instead of matting them on card...

I used the same papers as my last post, and they go so well with this gorgeous Gillian Roberts stamp! I think I may CASE myself and make a few more like this one. The long thin card is a nice change too.. made it a bit hard to find a suitable sized image, but this worked out real well.

The next card uses more of the same papers but in another colour range. I had completely forgotten about these papers, and after having just brought a latest release Christmas pad.. and winning one from Lori :), I realise I still have ALL of last years! Well, almost! Hoarding paper and embellishments is going to be a thing of the past for me... I'm going to use all those delicious papers I ♥ so much until they are gone, then if i need more, and only if I plan on using them, I will allow myself to buy more. First things first - use up what I have!!

This 2nd card is being entered into Scrapbook Boutique's November Blog Challenge - NOTE: only open to Australian residents.

I have another almost finished card, using yet another brand of stamp and papers.. no more hoarding Loz!!

I may or may not be back with it a little later on... there'll be a heap more simple, 1-layer type cards from me, as my card stash is now at 5 Christmas cards! Need a heap more than that :)

Tilda with Snowheart

Good morning to you all, I have a card to share, it seems like ages but I'm pretty sure it hasn't been that long ;)

I love the latest Magnolia release, I wish I could have got them all! These DP's are from a pack I bought when I first began crafting, I have been hoarding them for years - have used a bit of it along the way, the beauty of 12x12 sheets is you can get so many cards from them!

I couldn't decide which ones, so I went with 3 of them! inked the edges, applied some glitter... snowflakes and gems. I cut some trees from the same sheet and added them as embellishments. The sentiment is a digi one that I made and printed onto acetate then rubbed off onto the paper - sounds more difficult than it really is :)

hey guys, I haven't been around much as I have been hanging out for some more craft goodies I ordered to come and it would seem the slow Christmas post has already started! I finally got my Quickutz Snowflake dies, the large one is bigger than I thought so now my brain's on overload thinking of how to use it!

I made this quick simple card today for our nephew's 13th birthday. I'm not sure this image is quite right for a 13yo.. perhaps a bit older? But... anyways, it'll do! I used Mo's Video Boy for him last year and thought I'd better vary it a bit :)

The papers are DCWV Linen Closet, the image 'Paul Texting' by Mo Manning. I cut the '13' with Quickutz Santa's Workshop dies, the sentiment is Kaisercraft and the inked stars are from Tucked Pink Stamps 'Boys' sentiment set. The darker card is actually a chocolate brown, but it's come out really dark in the photo.

Christmas Card #2

I have had a horrible time photographing this card, the DP just looks the wrong colour and my DI looks a bit sicky-green too :)

I teamed this adorable "A Little Gift Tilda" with two older accessory stamps, the tree & sentiment. I'm wishing I had the tree DooHickey... so stamping this and cutting it out is my 2nd best option! I've followed this weeks Pink {Ink} Sketch... this card is relatively simple once again. It is only the 2nd Christmas card that I have made this year so I need to keep 'em simple and keep 'em coming!!

I ordered myself a Quickutz Snowflake die set and I am HANGING out for it to arrive! Fingers crossed for Monday.. I have so many ideas and I'll be able to trade my doilies in for it on the festive cards.

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend, we seem to have had mini breakthrough with our twin sons this weekend- the dreaded toilet training started nearly 2 or 3 weeks ago and had NOT been going well at all :/

then last night and today we've had each of them succeed in the hardest bit (those who have toilet trained before should know what I'm referring to), and yesterday we were dry/clean ALL day! Albeit 500 visits to the toilet, a role of paper and at least a 1000 flushes later :) But who's complaining!

Any advice from parents of TWIN SONS... I'm all ears :D

Christmas Morning Tilda Tag

Good morning guys, we're have a morning full of rain and thunder but it seems to be passing now - so I really should be hanging the washing out - but instead I wanted to share this Christmas tag with you all. It's a little larger than the usual tags I make, but I card just wasn't happening for me and it all fell together as a tag.

I've used Christmas Morning Tilda, some Magnolia DP, the Shapeabilities die is Fair Isle Pendant. Have had it in the cupboard so long I forgot it was there!! The holly leaves are from a Heidi Grace set that I stamped and cut out... and the stickers are from ??? I think they were in a candy win?

Anyways, the lighting was not good when i took the photos, the above shows the sparkle (but the bottom of the photo blurred a bit) and the photo below is a little darker. The sentiment is from the newest Tickled Pink Stamps - Vintage Christmas set (love them - plus I get to use my die with the 2 new frames... love it!!)

Magnolia Christening Card

Good morning bloggers. I'm back with yet another card to share with you all.

And just a warning that this post is photo heavy - it's been a while since I made anything so froufrou and frilly, and I wanted to capture it all as proof :)

I was asked to make a Christening card for a girl, I always struggle with these as we're not a bit religious and I have no idea what to put on them! Apparently she likes is, so I must have done okay.

The first photo shows the card with the flash on, just to capture all the added sparkle.

Love how the pale pink tulle has it's own little sparkle - thanks Autumn!

You're probably all wondering where my 'Lace' is? Well, it's paper lace! I just couldn't incorporate any of my laces onto the card so used MS Eyelet Lace BP instead.. and technically it's a paper lace doily! Here's some photos of the bits close up...

The hearts are a Cuttlebug die, and that gorgeous paper is Memorybox Gossamer pack. The pink at the back is a sheet that has gorgeous sparkly clouds on it - but I covered over them all :)

And the flowers are WOC. Oh, the little pearl stamens came from Autumn too!! Such a sweetheart she is x.

So it's been a while since I added flowers, and I still prefer to use the much smaller sized ones - guess that means I'll have to order some more!!

Twiddleybitz Shadow Boxes

Okay. So I've had these in the drawer for a little while, I had my sepia photos printed and this gorgeous Creative Memories paper pack & matching sticker (Discover Range) from a scrap booking party I went to months and months ago. I don't scrapbook - and I guess you can say this is my first attempt!

I love these papers, and the stickers are top quality. The first pic is one of DD holding up the finished frames (they still need a coat of paint on the back), she of course asked "where's mine?" So I'm going to have to see if I can get a couple more! Twiddleybitz products are made in Western Australia, and I got these from Scapbooking Allsorts.(and they don't have any more!) I also won their October Challenge and I am sure looking forward to seeing what's in the prize pack! Thanks to Tracey & Tracy!

I had to take the photos without the flash - how on earth do you photograph a SB page? Anyways, the boys were about 9 months old when I took these photos, I had some balloons to keep them happy while I snapped away at them. Oh.. they were so cute back then!

As with most things with the twins.. these are the same-but different. It's easier that way, as they get older (they're 3+ now) they're starting to decide what is who's and who wears what. I kept these simple as it was my first attempt.. we have plaster moulds of their tiny baby hands that I think I will paint to match and sit along the bottom... they're been in the cupboard for years waiting to have something done with them :)

I'm entering Simon Says Stamps BUTTONS challenge - they're there. Just one little chocolate one on each frame. It seriously is hard to embellish boy things!

Boy Birthday Cards!!

Good Sunday morning to you all. I have a couple of quick and simple 'boy' birthday cards to share with you. This will be my 1st of 2 posts for the morning... scroll up to see some Shadow Boxes with my übercute young twin sons in them!

I made this card with a Lili of the Valley image... their boy images are just gorgeous... I'm going through a bit of a stage of putting a number on the cards, make them a little more personalised. I'm entering this one into Lili of the Valleys - Bright & Sparkly challenge.

And here's another card... I used a Dustin Pike digi that I have had for years!! Our little friend loves Monster Trucks so I knew this would be perfect!

Colouring large images with chalks is a bit of a challenge.. but I think it turned out okay?

I managed a few more cards to share with you all today... starting with this cutie. My niece will soon be 2 (the big sister of the new baby), and here's the card I made for her using Sketch Saturday's sketch #179.

I'm also sharing a much simpler card, this one is for said niece's brother... hehe. Yeah, my nephew. He'll be 4 a week before his sister turns 2 and that will be exactly a month after their baby brother was added to the family. We're glad he made a slightly early entry as he was to be a November baby too!

Baby Boy Tingla :D

Hey Chickies. Hope your day has been good, I've had a busy day at the desk. Yay! It's so nice to be back crafting, all your blogs are so inspiring. My DH is currently on night shift and late this morning woke and came down stairs, walked into the study and said, "Found you." Cheeky bugger, he then went on to say that "no", not happy about me crafting again, because it means I'm (quote) "buying craft stuff again" (huffs!) :) He knows me all too well!!

Anyways, my brother and his wife welcomed bub number 3 on Tuesday, a little brother for their existing son and daughter.. here's the card I made for them.

I used Papertake Weekly's Sketch and am also entering Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes.

I took the photo outside when the sun was just starting to drop, and the photo seems to be more 'blue' than it is IRL??

I also wanted to share a card I made ages ago... and today!! I coloured the image and stuck it to the papers ages ago, and today decided it will be cute for a little friend's 1st birthday. So I added the number and gems today - oh, and actually mounted it to a card base!

Here's a card I made today for my DD's friend who is turning 6, I figure something girlie and Princess-y should be okay.

Sorry the photo isn't the best.. I should have taken one when it was still daylight :P

Can you tell I used my 'Jewel Tones' chalks to colour this one... you can see the shimmer? Look at the top of the window to see it best. I forgot these chalks had that shine!

Square Doilies.. Where can I get some? Have any of you used the Sqaure Cheery Lynn Dies to make your own??

Hey guys.. just a question. Does anyone know where I can get these paper doilies, they're 5 inch doilies and I haven't seen them anywhere for a long time?

I've been trying to find some and am beginning to think I'll have to purchase some Cheery Lynn Dies and make my own. Have you used the square doily dies? Are they any good? If you could share a link to you project in my comments I'd very much like to see it.

20 Week Photo

Hey guys, the heartburn has gone for today so I can breath (and swallow) easy!

Had the scan this morning, so nice to see Bubby up on the screen again, all looking well.

Here's a photo to share with you all.

See the little fingers on the left hand (just above the chest)... so cute! It took a bit to get a decent photo as Bub's was not co-operating and had both it's hands close to it's face.

Magnolia Christmas Tilda Tags

Hey guys... wow! The heartburn has really started to kick in today - and for all you lovers of old wives tales... I have had atrocious heartburn with both my daughter and the twins; and they were all born bald! And stayed bald for quite some time, so I'm not thinking it means I'll have a bubby with a full head of hair :D

Anyways, have made some tags (surprise!), using a couple of Tilda's and some Heidi Grace Sentiment stamps I forgot I owned.

There's 2 of each design, slightly different.

And here's the Marianne Designs Poinsettia die I had also forgotten about - I'm blaming the BABY BRAIN!

I have my 20 week scan on Thursday, very undecided about finding out the sex.. I sorta want to know.. but then I don't.....

I thought Christmas tags for the nephews; and the DT examples are just so inspiring I couldn't resist playing along. Ok, ok, and also white on white makes for really simple cards, I mean tags! What's easier than a tag?

Anyway, here's TPS gorgeous Lil Christmas Lad Frankie. I love this image, he's so perfect for the teen Christmas cards and tags, so I made TWO!

Mo's Video Boy

Yay! I've got a card to share with you all today! It feels so nice to be able to sit at my desk or here at the computer without feeling crappy! Don't get me wrong.. I still feel crappy but just not as crap :D

I had this digi printed from so long ago, the edges were all frayed and thus the reason for trimming around the image. The DCWV Linen Closet pad is perfect for teen cards, you like my little PacMans? It occurred to me that any teen I give this to is unlikely to know who PacMan is though!!

My nephew is turning 18 soon, so I think this one will be for him.

Beautiful Tilda

Hey guys.. don't die of shock now will you!! :) Yep, my mojo has actually attacked me and I'm this is my 2nd post for the day.. and the 2nd for the week LOL!

I needed to make a birthday card for a lovely person I know only through the world wide web.. (she won't know who she is cause I can tell you that I need to make another card for another blogging friend... and they won't know who's card is who's :))

I just love making scene cards, usually because it fills the space nicely and I can leave off those dreaded flowers :) But this one needed something extra so I included a Cheery Lynn Swirl and some free-handed grass. The images are of course Magnolia's Gorgeous Tilda & Floral Background. The lace, doily, twine, paper flowers and pearls are all from my stash. Inside I included a Mag Swirly Butterfly diecut chalked to match the colours. I love this tiny butterfly paper by Magnolia. I lifted Tilda and the grass up on some thick 2way tape to add some dimension - and am entering this weeks TOMIChallenge - Make a Dimensional Scene. And also Simply Magnolia has a Birthday Card Challenge - even though my card is minus a sentiment on the front I can assure you all that it IS a Birthday Card :)

Hey guys, yeah yeah long time no see. I feel like my eyeballs are hanging out of my head, that's because they are. For nearly 2 weeks I've hardly slept. DH is on nightshift and comes home around 4-5am... crawls into bed with his freezing cold feet then snores! So loudly that I have to vacate. I'm a very light sleeper, have trouble falling asleep at the best of times and hate noises!

I bought some MakeItCrafty scene digis to try and rouse the mojo.. only worked for a couple of hours. Here's the result anyways,

I've used the Forrest Flower digi stamp - a bargain $3!! I've teamed it up with Emerald Faeries digi Willy & Mia. I just love these gorgeous little critters. I coloured everything with my chalks, used a cloud template and a dark blue chalk for the clouds - I like how they turned out.

The butterfly is a JoyCrafts die, some little chipboard butterflies from I have no idea! I added the Magnolia 'love' corner stamp too...

Had to make the card slightly bigger, it's 15x17cm. the DP was from a candy win and was perfect for this scene!

Hey guys.. once again it's been a few days since my last post... you'll be happy to know that we WERE NOT FLOGGED in netball on Saturday.. we lost by 6! Argh.. so close. I also did have to buy some cooking goodies at the Chef's Toolbox party, now I'm a bit of a sceptic and not really the person you want to invite to a party plan party to boost your sales, I have no problem attending then buying NOTHING if I don't need to. But we do need a new knife and fry pan.. so I got both in a bundle pack - had better be good! Way dearer than the Magnolia Stamp Club for a whole year - what was I thinking? :)

Anyways, here's my card for you... not a scrap of DP in sight!!

I glimmer misted the card itself, chalked one of the doilies to match my image (which most of you will know I colour ONLY with CHALKS). I added some crochet lace, some cotton string/thread, the bow/heart stamp is the Magnolia Elegant Heart Banner - missing the banner :)

More Emeral Faeries... Kayla & Twinkie

good afternoon... back with some more of those too-cute Emerald Faeries. This time it's the sweet Mother/Baby image Kayla & Twinkie. I chose to make Twinkie (or is it Kayla?) into a cute baby girl. I actually used Sketch Saturday's sketch.. too late! Oh well...

The papers are all MemoryBox Gossamer (♥ them), used another Cherry Lynn Leafy Swirl, MS Eyelet Lace Punch, Mag DooHickey Swirly Butterfly die... some stickles, liquid pearls.. the big flowes are from Nutcrafters from when I was a GDT... the smaller ones???? The sentiments are Stampin Up & a Kaisercraft Rubon.

I'm playing netball right about now.. with my 3rd & 4th fingers taped together on my left hand.. and probably praying I don't jar my fingers on my right hand! It's been done before.. makes dressing really hard when 4 fingers are out of action.. all swollen and stiff! :)

Anyways, have a great wkd.. I have a "Chef's Toolbox" party tonight... not sure I want to spend valuable CRAFT MONEY on COOKING UTENSILS!!! No Way :D

I have slowly been falling in love with these gorgeous faeries thanks to fellow blogger and ex-DT buddy Debra... be sure to check them out for yourself. I had a bit of a squiz at what stamp artist Linda Catchlove has... OMG! I want all her prints! They're just gorgeous!

So anyways.. I got myself some digis - I want them all now - and decided to play along in the Emeral Faeries Challenge #4 Sugar & Spice and All Things Girly.

I've used some gorgeous butterfly DP (which I tried not to cover up too much), a couple of Cheery Lynn Designs Swirly Leaf Die, some hand-cut grass and a computer generated sentiment....

isn't she the sweetest? This is Ebony and I think she's a little darling :)

Oh, I added a smaller butterfly to the mushroom, and liquid pearled the spotty bits, added some stickles to her wings. I coloured her with my chalks but did need to use some pencils for her hair and the wing-tips, my cotton-tips for my chalks are just not fine enough...

Thanks for stopping by my blog - I know my posts are very scattered lately - all due to my scattered mojo :) And of course being a mother to 3 young kids, winter weather, netball injuries (yes.. my fingers are once again jarred!)... but it means so much to hear your lovely thoughts.... I just love CC Designs stamps and Puppy Kiki La Rue is just so sweet! The papers are just from my stash... couldn't resist another go with the doggy foot-printed paper :)

The flowers are a mix of WOC and the cherry blossoms are from Bizzy Becs, finished with Kaisercraft Rhinestones and a few extras sprinkled around :)

Doraline & Dexter Getting Married!!

'morning chickies

I've got this gorgeous wedding/congratulations card to share with you today, the image is the gorgeous Doraline and Dexter Wedding from Motivet, and I coloured them to match the coloured image on their packet.. not too shabby if I say so myself!

The sentiment is from a Kaisercraft Baby set.. I wanted to colour the letters - or something - but I'm at a bit of a loss as I don't have markers to match... or inks... or anything! So they'll just have to stay this way! It's not really wedding season over here at the moment, but at least I'm building a stash for the next season :)

The DP is from a 'papercraft designer' pad that I picked up in Big W, the colours are just gorgeous. I've used one of my fave big doilies, I really need to buy some more doilies at the moment - well, not these big ones cause I got a pack of 300 of these!!! That's alota cards :P

Sunday Morning Date with LOTV

Hi guys, I know I haven't been here for a while.. but I am back with a vengeance today! I have 3 cards to share with you but first.. I have stepped down from the Bizzy Becs DT and I want to take this opportunity to thank Bec and all the DT gals for making it such a blast! I wish them all the best - I will be stalking your blogs - and I hope that one day we can work together again :)

Okay.. now my blog title says it all! I got the LOTV box of stamps out and sat down and stamped!! Oh, what fun it was. The kids were next door with DH and the house was quiet, warm and cosy. So up first are some new baby cards...

These have similar style, the inked edges and extra circles were working for me so I stuck with them :P

The DP came from my really OLD stash and it was fun putting bits together that aren't meant to be, you know what I mean? I've been getting trapped at lot lately of grabbing one paper pad/pack and using just those for my cards - BORING!! I love how the little doggy footprints DP went with this image.

(I must apologise for the horribly dark photos - nighttime...)

Up next is a super simple Anniversary Card.. just love these Bath Bunnies :) The DP is DCWV with the black felt and I actually cut it down so I could use all that felt... the gathered satin hides the 'join'. These guys are actually bathing in CHAMPAGNE!! I didn't want to have blue water.. so I figured Champagne :) Click the photo for a better look... I also added Dimensional Magic to the 'water'.

Mr & Mrs Wedding

Hi guys, how's it all going today? I hope you Northern Hemisphere-ers are enjoying the heat cause us Southerners are freezing!! At least.. we are here in Aus at the moment.

I've got another wedding card to share with you all today, using a different stamp 'Mr & Mrs'... a much more mature stamp than those cute little kiddies playing dress-ups which I love so much.

I wanted it to be almost monochrome and very vintage/shabby... I think I made that happen???

I've used (of course) my Magnolia Swirl Butterfly die and the Romantic Lace one also. The papers are Magnolia too... Some misc pearls, a bit of sparkle and wella! Oh... yes, that's a bit of my glue you can see sneaking out around the edges, thankfully it doesn't show like that IRL. Okay.. I've got some DT projects to finish, hope you all have a lovely day ♥

Good morning... well, I'm still recovering from our night out at the Football/Netball Club Ball! Whoo! Certainly makes you feel old when the yawns start and continue consistently from 10pm :) Anyways, it was a great night.

I made a couple of cards on Friday I think it was.. am only getting around to posting them today. The first is a LOTV wedding couple card for their Punch It Up Challenge. I've used an old Sizzix Heart Die and my new leafy Swirl Die from Cheery Lynn Designs - you can get these from Bizzy Becs.

I added some sparkle and some rhinestones but that gorgeous Kaisercraft 'After Five' DP has done all the hard work for me, they're perfect for wedding themed cards.

The other card is one of those 'just because' cards. I figured it was about time to use a Sassy Gal.. and I love it!! Okay.. perhaps I do like the Magnolia Swirl Butterfly die a little more :)

G'day bloggers, that time of the month again... the new challenge over on the Bizzy Bec's Store Blog is

All About Lace

We would like to see your creations using lace in any way you like! I personally don't have much actual lace in my stash.. so as you can see, I used a strip of crochet lace, some 'Paper Lace Doilies' and Magnolia 'Lace' DooHickey dies. I cannot wait to see all your Lace-y Creations!!

This is the front of my Book Box.. aren't these just adorable little keepsake or gift boxes?? I just love how simple they are to make.. you'll be seeing lots more of these from me! I followed a very simple tutorial HERE. I plan on making some slightly larger than this as at 10x12cm approx.. I find this one a little small for all my gorgeous embellies to fit on the front!!!

And the inside. First time I've cracked the Magnolia 'Dream Tag' die.. love the 2 pieces... really versatile. And of course you'll have seen the 'Swirl Butterfly' on the front which I chalked to match - ♥ it!!

How's it going bloggers? We're all good in our little Aussie house... the maintenance man is done and gone (although my house is a mess and the kids will have to go un-bathed tonight) and I manged some time at my desk! Whoo Hoo!

So busy....

Hiya guys... just wanted to drop in and let you all know that I am still here!! Have been super busy lately, we've got maintenance being done on our house this week, DD has all sorts of after school shin-digs to keep me busy and DH needed a new suit for the Football/Netball Club Ball this Saturday night.. so shopping we went today. Not even 1 crafty thing snuck past him!! :)

Tomorrow I hope to find some time at my desk... in between making sure DTS (darling-twin-sons) don't harass the tiler as he fixes our two bathrooms!!

Off to have a looksy at what you've all been working on... and truthfully, putting off cleaning out under the stairs.. any VIC residents will know all about the MICE!! Think one curled up and died in there... stinky!! Not looking forward to that job!

Commissioned LOTV Wedding Card

Hey guys, here's that wedding card I mentioned in my last post, the lady who wanted it liked THIS CARD (the circle one obviously :)) but with a blue.. and after searching and searching I found this DP in just the right shade.

So, armed with my perfect DP (she'd even given me a swatch of the sample colour) I made the card.. exactly the same, exactly to order.

I managed to get the pearls all the way around this time, and was short some blue rosebuds so threw in some white ones as well.

I do have another card to share with you all, but once again it can wait! I just watched the movie "Morning Glory"..... snore! Not nearly as good as I was wanting it to be! Major dud for Rachel McAdams.

Hi guys, I've been crafting today :) I have had to make a wedding card for an order (will share that one with you a little later) and I have had this sweet baby coloured for weeks!!

I am loving playing with my crackle paint - among other things my DD bought for me when she won the Simon Says Stamp voucher.. I must get her to make some things with the stamps she got for herself and share them all for you here.

See my new Magnolia DooHickey Butterfly?? Isn't it the sweetest... and the most tedious thing to get out of the die :P I used a needle to flick all the tiny holes out before taking it out of the die. Well worth the time and patience. The satin looks *dirty* in this photo.. but I assure you it's nice and clean looking IRL!

I gave her stocking a 'fish net' look by using a grey-lead pencil to draw in some diagonal stripes. I like this image cause you could make the stockings her legs and put a little pair of knickers on her instead. I guess it depends on the bloke receiving the card... legs man, or cheeky man?? :)

I actually cut a little slit either side of her legs to thread the ribbon through, and the 'lets get dirty' was done on the computer.

Hi guys, back again with another creation for you all. Wondering why I'm even home on this glorious Saturday? It's my week off from netball, we have 10 in our team (only need 7 on court) so each week 1 or 2 of us have the week off, this is my first week off - and already I'm loving having my Saturday back to myself! Plus - it's once again way to warm to be running around!

I wanted to ink up this gorgeous Swiss Pixie Stamp that I got from Bizzy Bec. Bec currently has 35% off CC Designs Stamps, click the link from the Store Home Page or in the left sidebar. I didn't actually see this sweetie there, so contact Bec to see if she can get her in for you.

I've followed this weeks Anyone for Anya & Friends? Sketch...

I don't have any large dies so I made my die cut shape by first cutting a scrap piece of paper to the same size as my card. The I folded it in half, then half again. Then fold that square into a triangle shape, keeping all the folds on the same side. I just drew up a little diagram so you can see what I'm talking about!!

I actually drew around the edge of my DP with a black marker rather than matting it.. added some faux stitching, never seem to think to add it to my cards, and I love the result! Would be lovely to own a REAL sewing machine. So I did the same around my image, which matched perfectly with the stitched ribbon I got from Bec's yonks ago!!

Just found out my netball team lost.. and the 'mothers' (those of us with kids) have been just a little bit shafted by our coach, 2 of them didn't get full games and it was my week off. Dodgy! Okay, had better go.. oh, I've also used the Cherry Border Embossing Die from CC Designs, think it would be my fave if the cherries actually cut out from the page!

OMGosh bloggers... I'd completely forgotten I made this corner bookmark, like weeks ago! My poor neglected Monica McInerney book has been sitting on the shelf, waiting for me to get a few spare minutes (and of course the attention span needed to read :))

So, here she is. I didn't follow any instructions, just made her up as I went. I kept it really simple as I thought there's no point adding a heap of large embellies.. then my book wouldn't even shut!!

If you are after some instuctions on how to make one of these corner bookmarks I'm sure Paper Craft Planet and such will have tutorials galore. Just "Google It" lol! I traced and hand cut the flowers from another flower in my stash.

Magnolia Down Under Sketch Challenge

Happy Easter Sunday peeps! I hope you're all having a lovely day and not over indulging on the chocolate :)

After making this little sweetie this morning, DH and I took the kids to the local foreshore market - wowsers - have not seen so many tourists for years! So good for the local economy.. anyways, we walked to the railway bridge to watch the historic train go past, then got some takeaway Chinese for lunch.. and now I'm feeling very overindulged on fried rice lol! The kids and I will be taking in all the sights and *smells* of the local rodeo while DH goes to work. Should be a great night.. will have to pack warm cause the nights are super cold here now.

Enough about me.. oh, hang on! I did manage to make it to the Races yesterday, all-be-it for only 2 hours, but was so nice to get frocked up and have some drinks with the girls :)

What a fun sketch Kylie had made for this weeks challenge.. I altered the central circle for a square, but besides that I managed to follow it quite well. How gorgeous is this Tilda? I love these latest release - and yes, say that about each new release!! I should have taken an angled photo cause each layer is popped up. Can you see the shimmer from the Jewel Tones chalks?

'morning guys, just a nice simple 60th birthday card I whipped up for my FIL. Not into much other than war history and very hard to please, this was all I could come up with! Very simple, I just used the computer the get the numbers shape, added some Crystal stickles and some black rhinestones.

(The colours are horrible in this pic.. the papers are Basic Grey and look much crisper IRL.)

Also, here's a photo of Hayley with her Easter Bonnet on, this was the last day of school when they had their Easter Parade and all got a chocolate egg for making their hats.

Hayley's Card - Aged 5

Hey, back again to share the card my DD made for Simon Says Stamps Special kids challenge, she turned 5 in March and is always cutting, colouring and pasting.. oh, and did I mention thieving everything I drop on the floor ;-)

and the finished product! She used a Barbie colouring page for the image, and everything else from my stash. She was very excited when I told her she could win a 'money card' for some craft things... "oh! I will get a lot of stamps!" she said. I see she used some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers that I won, and their challenge is wings... so I'm going to enter this into that for her also.

Also wanted to add the Easter Bonnet that she decorated. I, of course, made the hat and tied the bow... but everything else was her! I'm going to enter her hat into Die Cut Dreams' Easter Challenge & Creative Inspirations Easter Challenge.

Good morning guys, sorry I've been missing for a while. My last post was actually scheduled so it really has been a while, and today I think I found some mojo... for a teen boy card of all things lol! It's my 2nd eldest nephew's Birthday today.. the big Teen 13!! So a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Nath!

I saw this gorgeous card over on Pops' blog.. isn't it gorgeous. (Thanks Pops for showing this great image and inspiring me to get it :)) I knew just had to have 'Paul Texting' so I got the digi and using this weeks Create4Fun's SKETCH Challenge.. I made this. Yes.. I basically cased Pops colours too! These BG papers are great for boys cards.

Mo has the best images for teens, I gave my eldest nephew the Video Boy image for his last birthday, such a great image for today's kids! I'm entering the Create4fun challenge, and also Papertake Weekly's - Anything Goes.

Bizzy Bec's April Challenge

Hi guys, I'm back with another

MAKE YOUR OWN DP (Design Paper) Card

which is this month's challenge over at Bizzy Becs Store Blog. If you missed my previous post - scroll down to see my stamped background using Magnolia Tilda with Armful of Tulips, I also used the regular sized stamp for my main image... and oh... the yummy colours still make my mouth water!

Onto today's example.... I've used 3 images from Blue Butterfly Stamps "Boyz will be Boyz" range - Cody Covered, and 2 images from the accessory pack to make my digi paper. I recoloured the images on my computer, then placed them in simple lines, repeating down the page as I went. Making your own DP like this (or with stamps etc) is so good 'cause you get to make exactly what you need, in the colours you need!!

My regular visitors will see that I've kept this incredibly simple once again... please send me your crafty mojo vibes telepathically so I can perhaps make something with a little more pizazz!!

Can't wait to see what you all come up with - am looking forward to seeing many new and exciting ways to make my own DP! Perhaps DH can stop whinging about all my paper stacks!!

I have been a fan of the gorgeous CC Designs images for a long time now, and Kiki La Rue is one of my favourites! And how sweet is this one? The new 'Spring Kiki' (currently out of stock, but like I said, email Bec and she may be able to get her in for you), is just as adorable as all the others.

I've used Kiki on a birthday card, I'm having a bit of a love affair with my paper doilies once again, perhaps to compensate for the lack of flowers, I just love the pretty edges on them and how they help fill the space. Good morning guys, gee, Autumn (Fall for all your Northerners!) is really starting to settle in down here. The days are lovely and warm, but the nights are freezing cold into the super crisp mornings. It's all about layered clothing now!!

You can stamp it, ink it, chalk it, make your own digi paper... basically anything!! And I for one cannot wait to see what you come up with!! I've now fallen in love with making my own, always getting the right colour combo that I'm looking for, or just the perfect pattern.

23 Days til CHOCOLATE!!!

(Have you noticed my posts are all over the place? Anyone else having this problem.... seems to be once I've added the photo and the usual double lining happens but I can't fix it! Help!)

Good morning guys, just a quickie post from me, have our first game of Netball for the season today. At the moment the wind is so chilly, but as soon as I start to run in it (despite the lack of coverage & warmth the suction-suit netball dresses give ;)) I'll be sweating like piggy with the red face of a fire truck!! Anyways, onto my card. I've decided to not even bother with flowers at the moment, every time I do I just don't like the result. So I give up for now!!

Wanted to make an Easter card, just so I could use the cute sentiment from the kit! These papers are really old downloads - but click the link in my recipe below, cause they've got some great new Easter themed papers! I added some little eggs in the grass near the bunnies, I just love that border strip, and matches perfectly with Tilda's cute bunny.

Hey there bloggers... first an apology for my few and far between posts... must be getting a little boring following me - have lost a few followers - though perhaps no candy on offer anymore is the real cause??

Anyways... I was asked to make an Anniversary Card, and knew to keep it simple as the person who asked for it isn't into too mush pretty stuff!! I just love this image for all things Anniversary!!!

I'd like to also thank all my 'real' followers.. those who take the time to comment regularly, those who comment less frequently than others but have actually read my blog posts... I know I'm a bit of a rambler (think it's an Aussie trait!).

Hey Bloggers.. supa busy weekend here in the Aussie Lozzie household so this will be quick! had a first birthday party yesterday - oh, the weather has been divine this weekend - and I needed a card! Eeek... nothing in my stash so I whipped this little cutie up!

Kept him nice and simple - being for a boy and all :)

The image is Lili of the Valley - Baby Boy and the sentiment is computer generated. i added some buttons and string and used the CB Candy Striped embossing folder. Not sure where the ribbon came from :D

Hey bloggers, have a sneak peek of something new coming to Blue Butterfly Stamps for you...

I've made some Mobile Phone charms using PolyShrink plastic... made very difficult due to the printer ink not drying on the plastic - but I was determined and with some simple shading - very careful not to touch the edges! - I managed these!!

"Bonnie Cowgirl" ... I made the hanger/clips from various bits and pieces in my stash..

and "Dakota In Stripes"
Here's some of the earlier images of the colouring and shrinking process... WARNING.. Photo Heavy!

Pre-baked.. you can see how I just lightly added the shading with the bits of red. The grey went a lot darker post-baking. I used some basic coloured permanent markers for this.

The size of them (on my pizza tray) before shrinking...

Shrink size on the tray.. they're soooo cute!!

And finally a closeup of the shrunken images.. they're much darker and as you can see in this photo.. (as opposed to the finished product ones above) their facial features etc are all still visible.
